Celebrate the changing of the seasons, local agriculture, grazing, and our food systems that nourish the land. Transhumance brings the outer landscapes into the city center by welcoming grazing animals to Steamer Landing Park.
9am - Shepherding demonstration at the Fairgrounds
10:30am - The flock will begin at the Petaluma Fairgrounds and continue down D Street to Steamer Landing Park. Come watch the herd go through town, then join festivities at Steamer Landing Park.
11:00 - 2pm - Live music, local food, weaving and shearing demonstrations, kids activities, local vendors and friendly sheep to meet.
